Gorgeous whaling captain's home with... winter water views, just up from the New Bedford T station perched on a hill. This was our family home for many years and is now a summer rental. It oozes love and good vibes.

Quiet neighborhood. Suitable for PhD student or visiting professor. Two large bedrooms plus office space and luxury bathrooms. Fully furnished, designer touches, all utilities included.

Renovated to keep historical details: 9 foot ceilings, oak floors, original 19th century moldings (but new windows!), a/c, heat, SCHLAGE locks (no keys to lose) and tons of windows with southern exposure. Professional gardener / landscaper takes care of property and house cleaners available if you like.

Location wonderful for UMASS:

3 blocks to the "T" station. 12-15 minutes drive to UMASS Dartmouth campus.
